Job Description This is a remote position. Associate Product Manager Location: Remote Start Date: ASAP Level: IC3/M1 - Lead About the Role This is an exciting opportunity to join a disruptive force in recruiting technology, capitalizing on the intersection of recruitment and innovative AI technologies. You will be building new products from the ground up and driving product strategy in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The Hiring Manager for this role is Prateek Shrivastava. What You'll Do (Outcomes & Day-to-Day) As an Associate Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining and executing the product roadmap, ensuring strong alignment between engineering, design, and business goals. Key Responsibilities and Tasks: Successfully define and maintain the quarterly product roadmap, aligning it with overall business objectives. Document and maintain clear Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) and user stories for the engineering team. Reduce product-related escalations by improving requirements clarity and stakeholder alignment. Establish and maintain a clear communication cadence with US stakeholders, including weekly updates and monthly demos. Attend daily standups, review and prioritize backlog items in JIRA, and participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and grooming sessions. Conduct stakeholder meetings with the US team for product demos, requirement gathering, and status updates. Analyze product metrics (using tools like Mixpanel or Google Analytics) and prepare reports on feature performance. Collaborate closely with the design team on UX/UI improvements. Work hours will require comfortable working in US time zones (ending the day around 11 PM IST post-sync with US stakeholders). Compensation Salary Range: Base 7lpa + 2 variable (annual, performance-based). Requirements Required Qualifications (Must-Haves) The ideal candidate possesses a strong foundation in product management and is ready to collaborate across global teams. Experience: 1-2 years of product management experience (B2B/B2C SaaS preferred). Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), basic understanding of APIs, databases, and system integrations. Product Management Skills: Proficiency with product management tools (JIRA, Confluence, ZOHO sprints, or similar). Experience with product analytics platforms (Mixpanel, MS Clarity, Google Analytics). Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum sprint planning and execution. Ability to write clear Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) and user stories. Soft Skills & Communication: Excellent presentation and stakeholder communication skills. Strong collaboration abilities across engineering, design, and business teams. Proven track record of managing product roadmaps. Ability to prioritize competing demands and make trade-off decisions. English fluency (written and verbal) for US team collaboration. Comfortable working in US time zones (3 PM - 11 PM IST). Desired Qualifications (Nice to Haves) Experience working with US-based teams or companies. Previous experience in a startup or fast-paced product environment. Background in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field. Familiarity with competitor products in our space. Experience presenting to C-level executives or senior leadership. Prior experience working in remote/distributed teams.
