Your role and responsibilities :

The candidate will be responsible to start-up and develop new solutions in a specific product range according to the AT/AU strategy. In a global and changing context, effective leadership and market driven thinking are prerequisite for this role.

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for the specific product range in the field of Switchgear, you will be accountable for its long-term profitable growth, by developing and managing the product range through its life cycle phases, according to market needs and AT/AU strategy. In a global and evolving market, effective leadership and market driven thinking are prerequisite for this role. Working in a brand-new Agile Organization, you will join the Agile

Team Develop Solutions:

Distribution Boards & Motor Control Centers – part of the Distribution & Energy Management Agile Unit – as a key contributor, understanding the requirements of the industry, specific channels and segments for the product release

The work model for the role is:

This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power Agile in Bangalore or Hyderabad, India.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Analyzing market trends, identifying customer needs, and setting market requirements for future development.
• Managing existing solutions used in the market, leveraging in monitoring sales target fulfillment and in taking appropriate actions.
• Defining future features and services.
• Boosting market penetration in line with the AT/AU’s ambitions.

Qualifications for the role:

• Master’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering; Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent work experience also accepted.
• Previous experience in a similar field.
• Understanding of the global and local markets for Enclosure/Switchgear, with experience in product management sales, engineering, R&D, and operational projects.
• Well-developed and well-rounded communication, collaboration, structured, problem-solving, and results-oriented skills.
• Teamwork, a penchant for innovation, attention to customers and stakeholders, and high motivation are essential personal qualities.
• Ability to anticipate customer needs and market trends, driven by curiosity and motivation.
