TransCore (TRN), a subsidiary of ST Engineering, is seeking motivated and detail-oriented Associate Product Marketing Specialists for the Marketing team. This is an entry-level position and will be based in our Atlanta, GA office.

Position Summary
The Associate Product Marketing Specialist is an early-career role designed for recent graduates and emerging marketing professionals who want to build expertise in technology, transportation, SaaS, and mobility solutions.
As an Associate Product Marketing Specialist, you will work closely with Product Management, Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Operations, and Engineering to help bring new products and capabilities to market. You will support market research, competitive intelligence, product launches, customer messaging, sales enablement, and go-to-market execution.
This role provides exposure to the full product lifecycle, from market discovery and positioning through commercialization and growth.
What You'll Do
Market & Customer Research
- Conduct research on transportation, tolling, mobility, payments, and technology markets.
- Analyze customer needs, market trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging industry opportunities.
- Support development of market segmentation, personas, and ideal customer profiles.
- Gather and synthesize customer feedback from sales teams, customers, partners, and industry events.
Product Positioning & Messaging
- Help develop product messaging, value propositions, and positioning frameworks.
- Create compelling content that translates technical capabilities into customer benefits.
- Assist in maintaining product messaging libraries and content repositories.
- Support development of product naming, packaging, and pricing initiatives.
Go-to-Market Execution
- Assist with product launches and commercialization activities.
- Coordinate launch readiness activities across Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Customer Support.
- Track launch milestones and maintain launch plans.
- Support campaign development with the demand generation and marketing teams.
Sales Enablement
- Create and maintain sales presentations, solution briefs, one-pagers, FAQs, competitive battle cards, and demonstration materials.
- Support field sales teams with competitive insights and customer-facing content.
- Assist in preparing materials for customer meetings, industry conferences, and executive presentations.
Competitive Intelligence
- Monitor competitors, market entrants, technology trends, and industry developments.
- Maintain competitive intelligence reports and battle cards.
- Identify differentiators, threats, and growth opportunities.
Product Marketing Operations
- Support portfolio reporting, launch metrics, adoption tracking, and commercialization KPIs.
- Assist in maintaining product documentation and marketing assets.
- Contribute to quarterly business reviews and strategic planning activities.
What Success Looks Like
Within your first 12 months, you will:
- Support multiple product launches from planning through market introduction.
- Develop messaging and sales enablement content used by customer-facing teams.
- Establish credibility as a trusted partner to Product Management and Sales.
- Deliver market insights that influence product and commercialization decisions.
- Build expertise in transportation technology, mobility payments, and intelligent transportation systems.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Communications, or a related field.
- 0-3 years of professional experience.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to synthesize complex information into clear business recommendations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
- Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn.
Preferred
- Internship or academic project experience in product marketing, product management, consulting, technology, transportation, mobility, or SaaS.
- Experience conducting market research and competitive analysis.
- Familiarity with CRM, marketing automation, analytics, or collaboration tools.
- Interest in transportation technologies, smart cities, mobility, AI, payments, or digital platforms.
