Associate Project Manager – Electrical Utilities

You’ll play a vital role in delivering innovative utility projects that power communities and promote sustainability. The APM supports the delivery of electrical utility capital projects by coordinating project initiation, planning, design progression, construction readiness, and closeout activities. We’re looking for someone with a strong foundation in electrical engineering and a passion for project management. Whether you’re early in your career or looking to grow into a leadership role, this position offers hands-on experience with transmission, distribution, substation, underground, and grid modernization projects. Responsibilities: Support planning and execution of complex electrical utility projects Collaborate across engineering, construction, procurement, and regulatory teams Track project progress and assist with documentation, permitting, and compliance Participate in site visits, inspections, and stakeholder communications Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field 2–5 years of experience in utility/construction projects Familiarity with electrical systems and safety standards Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills Willingness to travel and work onsite as needed Not quite right for you? Benefits offered include company sponsored medical, dental, vision, and retirement plan with company match. Also offered are tuition reimbursement, voluntary life, disability, critical illness, accident and hospitalization plans. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually. Full time employees are eligible to earn PTO hours. May be eligible for discretionary bonus as determined by the company.
