About the role The Associate, Quality Control is a motivated, detail-oriented person who will play an essential role in the company’s mission by completing peer-to-peer reviews performed by public record due diligence investigators on behalf of Vcheck’s roster of clients, including high-profile banks, law firms, and private equity firms. What you'll be doing Conduct quality assurance on all due diligence reports according to applicable FCRA, Client Guidelines, and internal Vcheck Global reporting requirements. Identify, analyze, and intelligently summarize complex legal documents including liens, judgments, bankruptcies, criminal records, complaints, and other recorded documents. Conduct and review research on social media profiles, derogatory news, and general online presence. Maintain in-depth working knowledge of all protocols and reporting requirements. Produce accurate, precise reviews and high-quality deliverables in a timely manner. Communicate with the client relations team to ensure deliverables and timelines are achievable. Collaborate with outside third-party firms for document retrieval, court runner services, and additional research. Notify investigators of errors reported and respond to all inquiries received. May assist with process related questions received from teams and department. May support team workloads and may assist with quality audits and projects as needed. Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Political Science, or International Studies Prior quality experience (preferred) 0-4 years of related experience in Public Records + Due Diligence research FCRA Regulation Knowledge Knowledge of due diligence databases (Lexis Nexis, Westlaw, CLEAR, TLO) and basic understanding of multiple fulfillment processes Bilingual (preferred) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience with confidential and sensitive information (PII) Ability to interpret a variety of instructions Proficiency in the following applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Slack, Teams Why us?
