Associate / Senior Associate - Projects Disputes

Your role You'll be a part of our band-1 Disputes & Investigations practice , as ranked by Chambers Global , and work with lawyers across all of our offices. Working closely with our Partners and the wider team, you will gain exposure to the most complex and interesting projects in the market. You will be advising clients from across various sectors, including government and healthcare through to infrastructure, transport, mining, critical minerals, renewable energy, and property development. At Allens, our structure means you'll get exposure to a number of different Partners within your practice group across the Allens' network and responsibility for a wide variety of work. Your role will typically include advising our clients on: Disputes relating to the development and construction of infrastructure, mining, property development and renewable energy projects; Commercial and contractual disputes Arbitration and supreme court litigation, throughout Australia Expert determination, mediations, DRBs/DABs and other alternative dispute resolution mechanisms; Providing advice regarding claims and dispute resolution during the project delivery phase across a range of significant Australian and international projects; Adjudication under the Security of Payment Legislation This is a permanent, full-time opportunity. About you You will have: Experience in construction and project disputes, litigation and claim resolution, ideally from a leading top tier, national or international firm An ability to effectively manage larger matters, and to work collaboratively as part of a team both internally within Allens and externally with our clients' teams.
