Associate / Senior Associate, Wills & Estate

A large, top-tier Australian law firm is looking for two Associates / Senior Associates to join its highly regarded Wills and Estates practice in Sydney. These roles have opened because of growth and suit ambitious lawyers who want to progress their careers in a close-knit specialist team.

The opportunity

The team handles sophisticated, complex matters for high-net-worth individuals and families. The work covers estate planning, estate litigation and estate administration, and the successful candidates will work closely with the Partners and gain broad exposure across the practice.

Key responsibilities include:

• the full range of Wills and Estates work, with a focus on complex estate planning
  
• challenging estate administrations, high-end estate litigation and trust matters
  
• mentoring in related areas, including tax, corporate and family law
  

About you

• 4+ years’ PQE with a focus on estate planning, wills and trusts
  
• the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  
• confidence dealing directly with clients
  
• strong drafting skills and close attention to detail
