About this business area:
The Associate Software Development Engineer, Salesforce Governance & AI Operations will enable and support the Salesforce Center of Excellence (COE) and Salesforce Enablement & Operations organization by helping deliver and maintain platform governance, operational processes, AI governance controls, organizational reporting, and platform documentation. This role will help improve visibility into Salesforce assets, support Data360 and Agentforce governance initiatives, automate operational processes, and contribute to platform optimization efforts across multiple Salesforce environments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing Agentforce agent inventories
- Supporting Data360 governance activities
- Creating executive reporting dashboards
- Documenting platform standards and architecture decisions
- Analyzing Salesforce license utilization
- Identifying automation opportunities that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort across the Salesforce ecosystem using AI tooling.
Required Qualifications

- Must have successfully completed corporate internship program
- The ideal candidate is analytical, detail oriented, interested in Salesforce and AI technologies, and eager to work across engineering, architecture, governance, and business teams.
- Foundational understanding of Salesforce platform concepts.
- Demonstrated interest in AI, automation, cloud platforms, or enterprise technology.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Administrator and or Agentforce certification or willingness to obtain within the first year.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field

The typical pay range for this role is:
$26.74 - $71.30This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
