Position Summary:

The Vaccine Demand & Implementation (VDI) Team is looking for a detail-oriented, self-motivated Associate with strong interpersonal skills who is tech-savvy and eager to learn. In this hands-on role, you will support the Boost Community and HPV Prevention Initiative, helping connect and engage a global network of immunization professionals. Working closely with the Manager, Vaccine Demand Implementation, and collaborating with technical experts, researchers, the Communications team, and colleagues across the Global HPV Consortium (GHC), you will contribute to a wide range of programmatic and administrative activities.

Boost connects more than 5,000 immunization professionals across more than 150 countries, helping members learn from peers and experts, build skills, advance their careers, and lead immunization programs in challenging contexts. The HPV Prevention Initiative houses the GHC, which mobilizes global and national action to eliminate cervical cancer through integrated services for HPV vaccination, screening, and treatment, with a special focus on low- and middle-income countries and high-risk populations.

Working across these initiatives, the Associate supports research, stakeholder engagement, project coordination, and tracking deadlines and deliverables. Responsibilities include organizing webinars, events, and meetings; collecting, synthesizing, managing, and visualizing data; drafting communications and technical materials; developing knowledge products; and supporting Boost’s online community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Sabin teams, leadership, and partners to implement Boost Community, Global HPV Consortium (GHC), and broader HPV Prevention Initiative activities, staying informed of relevant organizational and project developments
  • Support planning, scheduling, communications, and delivery of webinars, asynchronous courses, remote workshops, meetings, and other programmatic events, including preparing materials and coordinating speakers and participants
  • Draft, edit, and format knowledge products and technical communications, including Boost’s monthly newsletter, case studies, briefs, end-of-initiative presentations, and reports for internal audiences, funders, and partners
  • Help maintain Boost’s online platforms, including its learning management system (LMS), manage WhatsApp channels, and triage the Boost Community’s general inbox.
  • Support engagement with Boost and GHC members, partners, and stakeholders by building relationships, supporting learning groups and cohorts, promoting professional development opportunities, and identifying relevant activities based on member interests
  • Conduct reviews of peer-reviewed and grey literature to inform project activities and resource development
  • Assist with stakeholder mapping, maintain contact and key informant interview (KII) databases, and support survey development and dissemination
  • Collect, enter, organize, analyze, and visualize data to support project implementation, monitoring, learning, evaluation, reporting, and knowledge sharing
  • Participate in team and stakeholder meetings, document discussions and action items, and coordinate follow-up to track workstream progress and support completion of deliverables within established timelines
  • Provide administrative, logistical, and technology support across initiatives, including completing required forms and maintaining organized project files, tracking tools, and documentation
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in public health, global health, or a related field
  • At least one year of relevant experience
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Experience drafting, proofreading, and editing written materials
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and Word) and Zoom
  • Effective communication skills, including active listening, writing, and speaking
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues across teams and geographic locations
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize competing demands, and meet deadlines
  • Willingness to learn new tools and processes and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
  • A dependable, service-oriented approach to supporting colleagues, members, and partners
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and collaboratively across teams, with guidance and support from the Manager
  • Commitment to health equity and improving immunization access in underserved populations
