Valuations & Advisory | Full-Time
Location: Remote, NY/NJ area preferred
Position Summary
Nova Group, GBC is seeking an Associate Valuer to join our growing Valuations & Advisory team. In this role, you'll work alongside experienced valuation professionals to deliver valuation and advisory assignments for lenders, investors, owners, and developers across a broad range of commercial property types.
You'll develop expertise in commercial real estate valuation, financial analysis, market research, and investment decision-making while building a long-term career in a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of commercial real estate valuation and advisory reports.
- Conduct market research, financial analysis, and valuation modeling.
- Research and verify property, lease, operating, and transaction data.
- Analyze comparable sales, market trends, and investment performance.
- Participate in property inspections and market surveys.
- Manage multiple assignments while maintaining high quality and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with senior valuers and contribute to client deliverables.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in real estate, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Interest or experience in commercial real estate, valuation, finance, lending, brokerage, or consulting.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Self-motivated, organized, and detail oriented.
Preferred
- Commercial real estate valuation experience.
- Financial modeling and investment analysis experience.
- Argus Enterprise experience.
- GIS, CoStar, or other real estate data platform experience.
- Interest in pursuing a professional valuation designation.

Nova Group’s good-faith estimate of the salary for this position at the time of posting is 45,000 – 55,000 USD. Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s experience, skills, education, location, production, and other job-related variables.
