Responsibilities: As a Veterinarian at Marianna Animal Hospital, you will be responsible for: Comprehensive Veterinary Care: Diagnosing and treating medical conditions in small companion animals with a focus on dogs, cats, and some wildlife. Surgical Procedures: Performing surgical procedures with precision and care, ensuring the well-being and safety of our patients. Preventive Medicine: Advocating and providing preventive care, including vaccinations, parasite control, and wellness programs. Client Communication: Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with pet owners, providing education on proper pet care, and addressing any questions or concerns. Wildlife Care: Extending our expertise to treat and care for some wildlife in need of veterinary attention. Collaborative Teamwork: Working closely with our skilled support staff to ensure the smooth operation of the hospital and the delivery of exceptional veterinary services. Requirements: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution. State Veterinary Board license in good standing. Strong surgical and diagnostic skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Passion for providing compassionate and comprehensive veterinary care. Experience or interest in treating wildlife is a plus.
