About Atdomco
Atdomco is an independent advisory and fiduciary boutique in Luxembourg, providing company and fund administration, accounting and securitisation services to alternative investment managers across private equity, real estate and private debt. We’re a small, multicultural team, which means your work is visible, your ideas get implemented, and you won’t be one of fifty analysts processing the same file type.
The role
You’ll join the Onboarding & Client Servicing team and own AML/KYC files end to end, from first contact with a new client through to periodic review. This is not a box-ticking role. We want someone who forms a view on risk, can defend it in front of a compliance committee, and can explain it clearly to a client.
Beyond our own onboarding, you’ll support the RCs (Responsables du contrôle du respect des obligations professionnelles) of the funds and entities we service in meeting their AML/CTF obligations. This gives you a view of compliance from the client’s side as well as the administrator’s.
We’re actively investing in technology and automating how we work. If you see a manual process and immediately think about how to streamline or remove it, you’ll have real room to do that here.
What you’ll do
Onboard funds, corporate clients and investors, including complex multi-layered structures with nominees, trusts and SPVs
Identify and verify ultimate beneficial owners, and assess risk factors such as high-risk jurisdictions, PEP exposure, adverse media and source-of-funds or source-of-wealth concerns
Perform transaction monitoring (KYT) and escalate unusual activity with a clear, documented rationale
Run periodic and trigger-event reviews in line with the risk-based approach
Support client RCs in meeting their AML/CTF obligations, including:
preparing annual RC reports
entity-level ML/TF risk assessments
AML/CTF policies and procedures
responses to regulatory questionnaires
Assist clients with investor and asset-side due diligence, sanctions screening and the follow-up of open points
Prepare risk assessments and present higher-risk files for approval
Act as a day-to-day point of contact for clients and their investors, keeping requests moving without losing quality
Challenge and improve our risk methodology, procedures and templates, and help turn them into automated workflows
What we’re looking for
3–5 years’ hands-on AML/KYC experience in fund administration, a depositary, a bank, a Big Four firm or a corporate services providerSolid working knowledge of:
the Luxembourg AML/CTF framework (Law of 12 November 2004, CSSF Regulation 12-02 and related circulars)
the EU AML directives
the obligations placed on the RC/RR of investment funds
Experience with alternative investment structures (RAIF, SCSp, SICAV-SIF, SOPARFI) is a strong advantage
Sound judgement: you know when a file is clean, when it needs more, and how to say so diplomatically
Confident, clear written and spoken communication with clients and internal stakeholders
Organised and reliable under deadlines, with high attention to detail and absolute discretion
Strong Excel skills; experience with scripting, low-code tools or AI tools is a real plus
Fluent English; French, German, or Luxembourgish is an advantage
Degree in law, finance, business or a related field, or equivalent experience
What we offer
Competitive salary and discretionary annual bonus
30 days’ annual leave
Lunch vouchers
Exposure to both sides of AML compliance: the administrator’s onboarding and the fund’s own RC function
Direct exposure to senior management and real influence over how the function is built
A collaborative team that values diversity, initiative and growth
