AvonRisk is the nation’s leading specialty risk manager for self-insured organizations, uniting respected regional leaders in workers’ compensation, liability, managed care, and risk management across 32 states. With nearly 700 professionals and brands including Intercare, InterMed, George Hills, AS&G Claims Administration, Allan Koba Compliance Solutions we’re a people-focused, operations-driven organization that prioritizes reasonable caseloads, strong training, collaborative teams, and expert support.
Allan Koba Compliance Solutions is a growing Medicare Secondary Payer service provider with a national client base comprised of high-profile and globally recognized businesses. We focus on balancing our clients’ needs with Medicare Secondary Payer demands in a manner that saves time and money. Our promise is to deliver effective solutions in a prompt, clear and efficient manner. We are experiencing tremendous expansion and currently seeking an Attorney Compliance Manager to join our team.
As an Attorney Compliance Manager, you will provide the legal analysis and judgment that support the Medicare Set-Asides we deliver. You will analyze applicable statutes and regulations, review medical, payment, and claim records, assess the future care Medicare is likely to expect, and advise clients on resolving settlements while protecting Medicare’s interests. The work is high-volume and deadline-driven. Our model is attorney-led: you spend your time on attorney work, supported by a strong team of nurses and operations staff and a state-of-the-art, AI-enabled platform.
Prior MSP experience is preferred but not required. We provide training on MSP requirements and CMS practices. Candidates with experience reviewing medical records or handling workers’ compensation matters may progress through training more quickly.

- Admission to a state bar (preferred, not required)
- Comfort with document management systems and AI-enabled tools
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school (required)
- Hands-on experience reviewing and understanding medical records, ideally through a workers’ compensation lens
- Ideally 2–7 years of legal experience. Recent graduates with strong medical record or workers’ compensation exposure (clinics, externships, or a prior clinical or claims career) are also encouraged to apply
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to advise clients and work with internal teams
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a high-volume environment
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
