Job Summary We are looking for an experienced AU Financial Paraplanner with strong SOA/ROA preparation and financial modelling skills, and hands-on IRESS Xplan experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organised, and confident supporting Australian Financial Advisers with research, documentation, compliance, and client file management. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Paraplanning & Advice Documentation Prepare draft SOAs, ROAs, review documents, and other advice documents for adviser review. Perform financial calculations, modelling, and analysis for client strategies. Support modelling for superannuation, retirement, insurance, tax, and contributions. Ensure documents are accurate, complete, professional, and submitted on time. Research & Strategy Support Conduct research on investments, superannuation, insurance, platforms, products, and strategies. Prepare product comparisons and research to support client recommendations. Maintain accurate records and supporting evidence of research. Client File & Implementation Support Review client information and identify missing or incomplete details. Prepare and maintain client files for advice, reviews, and implementation. Assist with implementing approved advice and liaising with providers. Track outstanding tasks and escalate delays or issues. Compliance & Quality Assurance Ensure advice documents and client files meet Australian regulatory and licensee requirements. Apply knowledge of ASIC requirements and Best Interests Duty. Maintain accurate records, calculations, file notes, and supporting documents. Identify and escalate compliance issues or documentation gaps. Maintain strict confidentiality of client and business information. Systems & Teamwork Maintain accurate client information, tasks, and documents in relevant systems. Use IRESS Xplan for advice documentation, modelling, and CRM activities. Use platforms such as CFS Edge, HUB24, and Expand when required. Use research and quoting tools to support paraplanning activities. Manage deadlines and communicate progress and outstanding tasks. Work closely with Financial Advisers and the wider team. Suggest improvements to processes, templates, systems, and workflows. Qualifications Minimum 2 years' experience in paraplanning or a financial planning support role within the Australian financial services industry Experience preparing or supporting the preparation of SOAs, ROAs, financial modelling, research, and advice documentation Strong standard of written English, with the ability to prepare clear, accurate, and professional advice documentation Experience using IRESS Xplan for advice documentation, financial modelling, and CRM Demonstrated understanding of the Australian financial planning and wealth management environment Preferred but not required Qualification in Financial Planning, Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business, or a related field Experience with CFS Edge, HUB24, and Expand Experience using financial planning research and quoting tools Experience supporting Australian Financial Advisers remotely Technical Requirements Reliable laptop/desktop (with at least one backup device) Noise-cancelling headset (for interviews and meetings) Stable internet connection with a backup (minimum 100 Mbps) What's On Offer?
