We're growing our Philippines team and are looking for an experienced Senior Tax Accountant with strong Australian tax and compliance experience to join us in a permanent, full-time remote role.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships.
• Prepare and review BAS, IAS, payroll tax and other ATO compliance obligations.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and tax returns.
• Manage ATO correspondence and client compliance obligations.
• Provide support on Australian taxation matters, including GST and capital gains tax.
• Review work for quality and accuracy.
• Build strong client relationships through professional communication.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

You'll be successful if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 5 years' experience in Australian tax and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of Australian taxation legislation and compliance requirements.
• Advanced experience using Xero Tax and Xero Practice Manager.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive, accountable and client-focused approach.
