We're growing, and we're looking for a Service Technician (we call the position Client Care Specialist) to join our team and own the client experience in the Central Georgia market. If you're a self-driven AV pro who gets excited about solving problems, loves working with people, and doesn't need someone looking over your shoulder to get things done — keep reading.
Since we don't have an office in the area, your home will be your base of operations as you service AV clients in the central GA/Atlanta area, preferably in the South Atlanta to Macon corridor. You’ll have a company vehicle for client site visits and the full support of our Client Care team behind you.
Who We Are
S&L Integrated is a commercial Audio/Video/Controls/Lighting integration company based in in Thomasville, GA and Nashville, TN. We design, install, and support AV systems for commercial clients across the Southeast — and we take a lot of pride in doing it well. Our team is tight-knit, passionate about technology, and genuinely committed to making our clients' lives easier.
What You'll Be Doing
- Being the go-to person for your assigned commercial AV clients — the one they trust to pick up the phone and actually fix things
- Troubleshooting and resolving AV system issues — remotely when possible, on-site when needed
- Keeping a close eye on client systems through remote monitoring tools and staying ahead of problems before clients even notice them
- Keeping accurate client service documentation that is submitted timely
- Making sure every client interaction reflects the level of service S&L is known for
- Staying sharp — we invest in our people, and we expect you to keep learning alongside us
The Schedule
You will typically work a standard 40-hour work week, Monday–Friday. On-site visits can occasionally run long, so there may be periodic overtime.
What You Bring to the Table
Must-Haves:
- Real-world experience in AV installation and/or AV service and troubleshooting for a commercial AV integration company.
- The ability to diagnose and resolve AV issues across displays, audio, control systems, networking, and more
- Great communication skills — you can explain a technical problem to a non-technical client without making their eyes glaze over
- Strong self-management skills — you plan your day, follow through, and don't need a lot of hand-holding
- A passion for helping people and a genuine curiosity about technology
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- A solid home office setup with reliable internet. Must be currently located in the Central GA/Atlanta area.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience with service management platforms
- Familiarity with remote system monitoring tools
- Industry certifications (AVIXA CTS, Q-SYS Lvl 1; Dante Lvl 1 &2, etc.)
- Background in a service agreement or client care environment
- You're based in the South Atlanta, GA to Macon, GA corridor
What We Offer
- Competitive salary commensurate with experience
- Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance
- 401(k) with company match
- A clear path for career growth within a thriving industry
Before You Apply
All applicants must consent to a background check and drug screen as part of the selection process. Employment offers are contingent on passing both. You'll also need to provide documentation confirming your legal right to work in the U.S.
