Salary Range: $60,051.09 To $73,411.57 Annually
The Supreme Court of Nevada, Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC), is seeking an Audit Assistant to join the Audit Unit. This position provides essential administrative and operational support to the audit team and plays an important role in keeping audit activities organized, accurate, and on schedule.
The Audit Assistant performs a variety of administrative functions, including maintaining records and data systems, coordinating audit schedules and meetings, organizing audit documentation, supporting audit software access, formatting reports, and assisting with office needs. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a professional office environment.
This position is located in Las Vegas. After an initial training period, there may be an opportunity for a hybrid remote/in-office schedule.
Examples of Duties:
Data Entry and System Maintenance: Accurately enter data into relevant systems, maintain databases, and ensure data integrity. Assist in keeping records up-to-date and organized for easy retrieval.
Meeting Coordination: Arrange and organize various meetings, including conference calls, video conferences, and webcasts. Handle logistical aspects such as scheduling, setting up equipment, and coordinating attendees.
Audit Software Access: Authenticate court access to audit software and maintain access controls. Facilitate the secure and authorized use of audit-related software.
Documentation Management: Individually pull and assign audit request documentation to relevant testing sections within audit software. Assist in organizing and maintaining audit-related documentation for efficient retrieval.
Administrative Support: Perform general administrative tasks such as file maintenance, record keeping, and document organization. Handle routine office duties including mailings, form letters, distribution lists, and data updates.
Audit Scheduling: Take responsibility for audit scheduling, ensuring proper coordination of audit activities, timelines, and resources. Keep all parties informed about upcoming audit events.
Quality Assurance: Conduct math checks, proofreading, and report formatting to ensure accuracy and professionalism in audit reports before they are processed and distributed.
Office-wide Duties: Collaborate with the audit team to provide administrative support across the department. Assist with tasks such as compiling reports, preparing materials for presentations, and contributing to team projects.
Ad Hoc Tasks: Fulfill any other duties as assigned by supervisors from time to time, adapting to the dynamic needs of the audit department and the organization.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in data entry and maintaining accurate records.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in using office software and tools, including Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle tasks with a high level of professionalism.
- Basic understanding of audit processes and terminology is beneficial.
- Prior experience with scheduling and coordinating meetings is preferred.
If this position is approved for remote/hybrid work, the incumbent is required to work a minimum of 40 hours in the office per pay period, in accordance with a supervisor-approved schedule. The remaining work hours are eligible to be performed remotely in accordance with operational needs and applicable remote-work policies. The incumbent must be able to work effectively and collaborate with employees while working remotely. The individual must be proficient in virtual meeting platforms such as Microsoft Teams and be able to perform all duties through a reliable internet connection provided by the employee. The internet connection must be sufficient to support all job functions, with a minimum download speed of 50–100 Mbps. Higher speeds may be necessary if the connection is shared with other members of the household.
