Role Description The Audit Associate role is a full-time position based in Makati with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work from home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing financial audits, assisting in the preparation and review of financial statements, and supporting the execution of audit procedures in accordance with professional standards and firm methodologies. The role involves analyzing financial data, testing internal controls, documenting findings, and preparing clear workpapers and audit reports. The Audit Associate collaborates with engagement teams, communicates with client personnel, and helps identify process improvements and potential risks. The position also includes participating in training, staying updated on relevant accounting and auditing standards, and contributing to a positive, compliant, and client-focused work environment.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in finance and accounting, including knowledge of Finance and Financial Statements.
• Practical experience or academic background in Auditing and Financial Audits.
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills for interpreting financial data, assessing risks, and drawing evidence-based conclusions.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; CPA qualification or eligibility is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, team-based audit environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to team members and clients.
• Proficiency with standard office and audit-related software; familiarity with data analysis tools is a plus.
• Willingness to work in Makati under a hybrid setup and to adapt to changing client and project requirements.
