About the Role
Ready to lead complex engagements without putting your own growth on hold? As a Senior Assurance Manager, you'll take ownership of client relationships, guide multiple audit teams, and help shape the assurance practice. You'll have the scope to solve challenging accounting issues, develop future leaders, and work closely with firm leadership.
The position offers $150,000 to $175,000 annually, plus a bonus and comprehensive benefits. You'll also have hybrid flexibility with 2 to 3 days in the office, a flexible summer schedule, generous PTO and holidays, and CPA and continuing education reimbursement. This opportunity is based in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
What You'll Do
Lead complex audit, review, and assurance engagements from planning through issuance, with the autonomy to set strategy and guide teams through challenging issues.
Build lasting client relationships and advise on financial reporting, internal controls, risk, and business operations.
Develop Managers, Seniors, and Staff through coaching, feedback, and hands-on technical leadership.
Partner with Assurance Partners on client growth, proposals, and opportunities to expand services.
Shape how the practice works by improving quality, using audit technology and data analytics, and collaborating with Tax and Advisory teams.
Own engagement delivery and economics across multiple teams while maintaining the technical quality and professional standards clients rely on.
What You'll Bring
An active CPA license and a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
At least 7 years of progressive public accounting experience, with a track record of leading audit and assurance engagements.
Strong command of GAAP, GAAS, financial reporting, risk assessment, and internal controls.
The judgment to manage complex engagements and the people skills to earn clients' trust and help teams grow.
Experience with privately held companies, complex accounting transactions, audit technology, or practice development would be a plus. If you're ready for a role where you can lead client work and make a meaningful impact on the team around you, we'd love to hear from you.
