Ready for an Audit Manager role where you can lead the engagement and have a real voice in what comes next?
A growing public accounting and advisory firm is looking for an Audit Manager who wants more than another cycle of deadlines. You'll own complex engagements, build relationships with senior client leaders, and work directly with firm leadership to help shape the practice. If you're a strong Senior ready to step up, there's room for you here, too.
What you'll be doing:
Lead audit, review, and assurance engagements from planning through final issuance
Build trusted relationships with CFOs, controllers, business owners, and senior management
Look beyond the financial statements to advise clients on accounting, reporting, internal controls, and operational challenges
Set engagement strategy, manage risk and budgets, and resolve complex technical issues
Review financial statements, disclosures, and workpapers while maintaining high audit quality standards
Coach and develop Seniors and Staff, giving them the direction and ownership to grow
Spot opportunities to expand client relationships across assurance, accounting, and advisory services
What they're looking for:
5+ years of progressive public accounting audit and assurance experience
Current Audit Manager experience or a strong Senior ready for Manager-level responsibility
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
CPA strongly preferred
Confidence managing engagements, deadlines, budgets, and multiple client relationships
Sound technical judgment and the ability to guide teams through complex financial statements and audit issues
A strong presence with senior client leaders and a genuine interest in developing junior professionals
What makes this opportunity stand out:
$145,000 to $165,000 annually, plus bonus, comprehensive benefits, generous PTO and holidays, a flexible summer schedule, and a hybrid schedule with 2 to 3 days in the office. CPA and continuing education reimbursement, training, and mentorship are also part of the package.
If you're ready for more ownership, closer access to leadership, and room to grow as an advisor, I'd be happy to share more confidentially.
