Previous experience preparing Australian tax returns.
Strong understanding of Australian year-end accounting processes.
Advanced proficiency in Xero.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Excellent written and verbal English communication.
High attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work.
Ability to manage your workload independently and meet deadlines.

Nice to Have

Experience using Xero Practice Manager (XPM).
Experience preparing tax returns for companies, trusts, and SMSFs.

What you will do?

Preparing year-end work papers and adjusting journals.
Preparing financial statements for small business clients.
Completing Australian tax returns for companies, trusts, and Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSFs).
Reviewing client accounting records and making necessary adjustments in Xero.
Extracting reports and analyzing financial data using advanced Excel.
Managing assigned jobs independently while ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
Collaborating directly with the Principal Accountant, who will review completed work and provide coaching where needed.
