Job Description

Yrs of Exp: 3 - 5

Location: Chennai(Hybrid)

JD:

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, and Playwright.
  • Build and enhance automation frameworks based on project requirements.
  • Create and execute functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end test cases.
  • Develop robust and reusable test automation components.
  • Perform API testing using REST/SOAP services.
  • Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins.
  • Analyze test execution results and provide detailed defect reports.
  • Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Monitor and improve test automation effectiveness and coverage.

Required Skills

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong programming skills in Java.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
  • Experience in Playwright Automation.
  • Good understanding of TestNG/JUnit frameworks.
  • Experience with Maven/Gradle build management tools.
  • Strong knowledge of web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Experience in API Testing using REST Assured, Postman, or SOAP UI.
  • Knowledge of SQL and database validation.
  • Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab version control systems.
  • Familiarity with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of Test Automation Framework design patterns.

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms.
  • Experience with performance testing tools.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
