Automotive Software Engineer Software Engineer – SIL / AUTOSAR RSB Automotive Consulting is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join a project for one of our clients from the automotive industry. In this role, you will work on the development of a Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) simulation environment that supports the virtual validation and integration of embedded automotive software. You will focus mainly on building and improving the simulation infrastructure, working closely with engineers involved in software development and validation. What will you do? Develop and integrate virtual ECUs within an AUTOSAR-based environment Build and maintain interfaces connecting the simulation environment with plant models, communication networks and automation solutions Support the development of simulation concepts for complex automotive systems Improve simulation performance and reliability Investigate and resolve issues within the SIL infrastructure Work closely with embedded software and system engineering teams Prepare technical documentation and guidelines for the developed solutions What are we looking for? 3+ years of experience in embedded software, software development or simulation Good knowledge of C and embedded software development Practical understanding of AUTOSAR and embedded systems Experience with Git or similar version control systems Good command of English Nice to have: Experience with SIL environments or virtualization/simulation tools such as SYNOPSYS Silver Knowledge of Simulink , plant modelling or FMI/FMU Python, Bash or other scripting/automation experience Familiarity with CAN/LIN communication and signal-level concepts Experience with AUTOSAR-related artifacts such as ARXML, A2L or NVM definitions Knowledge of Make/CMake and cross-compilation Experience working with automotive embedded systems What we offer Hybrid work model from Kraków – combining remote work with regular presence at the client's technical center Opportunity to work on advanced automotive software and simulation technologies Long-term project with an international engineering environment Collaboration with experienced specialists from embedded and automotive domains Attractive contract and remuneration conditions If you are interested in developing SIL infrastructure for automotive embedded systems and working with AUTOSAR-based technologies, we would be happy to hear from you.
