Build a career that matches all your initiative with an impressive dose of innovation. From cutting-edge resources and a collaborative environment to the freedom to make an impact and more, you'll find the ingredients you need at LPL Financial to shape your success while helping clients pursue their financial goals.

Job Overview:

Help define how LPL manages and understands enterprise AI consumption. As the Assistant Vice President, Consumption Management Product Owner, you will help shape an enterprise platform that connects AI usage, cost, financial attribution, and reporting into trusted insights. The role turns fragmented consumption records into practical capabilities that help Finance, product owners, and business leaders understand spending, manage budgets, and make informed decisions as AI adoption scales.

The Assistant Vice President, Consumption Management Product Owner, owns the product definition and evolution of the Consumption Management platform. The role translates enterprise AI consumption and financial management needs into product capabilities, data requirements, workflows, reporting, and measurable outcomes, partnering with Finance, engineering, architecture, AI platform teams, governance, and business stakeholders from initial dashboard delivery through adoption and scale. The role is accountable for product outcomes, prioritization, and readiness while partnering closely with technical leaders on implementation.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the execution across the product vision, strategy, roadmap, priorities, and success measures for the enterprise Consumption Management platform.
  • Translate the needs of Finance, budget owners, product owners, and operational teams into personas, workflows, user stories, acceptance criteria, data definitions, and product requirements.
  • Define and evolve reporting for AI consumption, including provider-reported and estimated costs, token usage, adoption, utilization, budgets, cost drivers, trends, and forecasts.
  • Partner with Finance, engineering, architecture, data, AI platform teams, AI governance, Risk, and business stakeholders to shape ingestion, cost attribution, allocation, show-back, chargeback, and reporting capabilities.
  • Lead dashboard release readiness and validation, including representative scenarios, data quality checks, financial reconciliation, exception handling, acceptance criteria, stakeholder feedback, and iteration through scale.
  • Use data and feedback to manage the product backlog, resolve scope and dependency questions, make trade-offs, and prioritize improvements in cost transparency, reporting trust, and financial accountability.
  • Support adoption and rollout by defining enablement, feedback loops, operating practices, and reporting that help stakeholders understand AI consumption and make informed financial decisions.

What are we looking for?

We are seeking a product leader who is motivated to pursue greatness, consistently act with integrity, and is driven to help our clients succeed through scalable, responsible technology solutions. The ideal candidate can connect business needs, user experiences, process design, data, and emerging AI capabilities into a coherent product direction. They collaborate effectively across technical and business functions to win together while helping teams innovate responsibly and create and share joy through exceptional product experiences and meaningful progress.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of product management or product ownership experience, including enterprise software, workflow, platform, or other complex technology products.
  • Experience translating complex business processes or operating models into product strategy, roadmaps, workflows, requirements, and measurable outcomes.
  • Experience leading cross-functional product delivery with engineering, design, architecture, data, and business stakeholders in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience with software development lifecycles, product and delivery metrics, pilot design, and data-driven product decision making.
  • Experience with generative AI, AI agents, or AI-enabled software development and their application to enterprise workflows.

Preferences:

  • Experience in financial services or another regulated industry with governance, risk, privacy, records, or supervisory considerations.
  • Experience with enterprise knowledge management, workflow/orchestration platforms, AI agents, or human-plus-agent operating models.
  • Experience building product measurement frameworks, connecting operational measures to business value, and using pilot evidence to guide investment and scale.

Pay Range:

$109,283.00 - $182,104.00
