Position Summary
The Assistant Vice President - Travel & Corporate Procurement is responsible for the end-to-end management of Berkadia's corporate travel program. This role serves as the primary owner of travel operations, traveler support, vendor management, policy administration, reporting, and continuous program improvement.

The successful candidate will act as the company's travel subject matter expert, partnering closely with employees, business leaders, Finance, HR, and the travel management company to ensure a seamless and efficient travel experience. The role will also support procurement initiatives, supplier management, and sourcing activities across select corporate spend categories.

Responsibilities

Travel Program Management

  • Own and manage Berkadia's corporate travel program.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for travel-related questions, issues, and escalations.
  • Manage the relationship and performance of the travel management company and travel suppliers.
  • Administer travel policies and ensure consistent application across the organization.
  • Identify opportunities to improve traveler experience, compliance, and program efficiency.
  • Develop employee communications, training materials, and travel resources.
  • Support executive and employee travel needs as required.

Travel Operations & Systems

  • Administer and maintain SAP Concur, including user profiles, permissions, and program settings.
  • Support employee onboarding, profile management, and travel access requests.
  • Monitor travel activity, policy compliance, and service performance.
  • Produce travel reporting, spend analysis, and program metrics.
  • Coordinate issue resolution among travelers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Procurement & Supplier Management

  • Support sourcing, vendor management, and procurement initiatives across corporate spend categories.
  • Assist with supplier evaluations, contract renewals, and RFP activities.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify savings opportunities and improve supplier performance.
  • Support procurement governance, policies, and best practices.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of experience in an adjacent role
