AWS AI Architect – AI Platform

About the project

We are looking for an experienced AWS / Cloud Architect with AI & GenAI expertise to join a project focused on building a new AI platform for creating and running different AI agents.

The role combines AWS architecture, cloud infrastructure and Generative AI, with a strong focus on services such as Amazon Bedrock.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop the architecture of a scalable AI platform on AWS.
• Select and integrate appropriate AWS services and AI/ML components.
• Design architecture for GenAI and AI Agent solutions.
• Work with Amazon Bedrock and related AWS AI services.
• Ensure scalability, security, reliability and observability of the platform.
• Design and support CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code and DevOps processes.
• Collaborate with AI/ML, Software Engineering and DevOps teams.
• Make architectural decisions around infrastructure, integrations and deployment of AI agents.
• Consider IAM, networking, security, governance and cost optimisation.

Requirements

• Several years of hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions on AWS.
• Experience as an AWS / Cloud Architect, Solution Architect, DevOps Architect or similar.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services, including Amazon Bedrock, Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, IAM, VPC, API Gateway, CloudWatch and event-driven services.
• Practical understanding of Generative AI, LLMs and AI Agents.
• Experience designing solutions using Amazon Bedrock or similar GenAI platforms.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation or CDK).
• Good understanding of DevOps, CI/CD and cloud security.
• Ability to design production-ready, scalable cloud solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience building AI / GenAI platforms.
• Knowledge of RAG, embeddings, vector databases and tool/function calling.
• Experience with Agentic AI / AI Agent architectures.
• AWS certifications, especially Solutions Architect – Professional or AI/ML-related certifications.
• Experience with Kubernetes / EKS.
