We are seeking an experienced
AWS Architect
with strong hands-on
expertise
in designing and implementing
cloud-based data platforms and
lakehouse
architectures. The ideal candidate will
be responsible for
architecting scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions on AWS while collaborating closely with engineering and data teams to deliver robust cloud-native data pipelines and analytics platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement
scalable and secure data architectures
on AWS.
Build and manage
lakehouse
-based data platforms
using modern AWS data services.
Architect and develop
data ingestion, processing, and transformation pipelines
.
Design and
optimize
data storage solutions
using AWS services such as S3 and Lake Formation.
Develop serverless data processing solutions using
AWS Lambda and AWS Glue
.
Implement
data governance and access control frameworks
using AWS-native capabilities.
Work with engineering teams to implement
infrastructure as code (
IaC
)
using Terraform.
Design and manage
data synchronization and data migration processes
using AWS
DataSync
and related tools.
Ensure data platforms support multiple
data formats and analytics workloads
.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.
Document architecture designs, standards, and implementation guidelines.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience
working with AWS cloud services.
Strong
expertise
in
AWS data and analytics services
, including:
AWS Lambda
AWS Glue
Amazon S3
AWS Lake Formation
Amazon Athena
Experience building
Lakehouse architectures
and modern data platforms.
Experience working with
data formats such as Parquet and Iceberg tables
.
Strong experience with
Terraform
for infrastructure automation.
