🎯 Position: AWS Cloud Security Architect

🌍 Work Model: 100% Remote

We are looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Security Architect to join a challenging technology project, taking ownership of the end-to-end design and implementation of cloud security architecture within AWS.

In this role, you will play a key part in establishing security standards, implementing technical guardrails, and building scalable, secure, and automated cloud solutions.

We are looking for a highly technical professional who combines strategic architectural thinking with hands-on engineering and implementation expertise.

⚙️ What Will You Be Doing?

• Design and implement AWS security reference architectures, covering Identity and Access Management (IAM), logging, threat detection, and vulnerability management.
• Design, build, and implement secure AWS Cloud Landing Zones, ensuring security, governance, and scalability.
• Define and deploy security guardrails across AWS environments.
• Architect and secure large-scale AWS multi-account environments, ensuring appropriate isolation, access controls, and compliance.
• Translate security policies, business requirements, and regulatory obligations into effective technical security controls.
• Develop reusable security frameworks using Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Policy-as-Code.
• Build and optimize automation pipelines for deploying and maintaining security controls.
• Develop scripts and automation tools, preferably using Python.
• Evaluate, select, and integrate cloud security tools and technologies.
• Collaborate closely with Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, and Cybersecurity teams.
• Provide technical leadership, guiding engineering teams and technology partners in architectural decisions and implementation.
• Promote an automation-first approach, continuously improving cloud security practices and operational efficiency.

🧠 What Are We Looking For?

• Strong, proven experience in AWS Cloud Security Architecture and Engineering.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing AWS security solutions, beyond architecture documentation and theoretical knowledge.
• Solid understanding of AWS IAM, logging, threat detection, and vulnerability management.
• Proven experience designing and implementing AWS Landing Zones and multi-account architectures.
• Strong practical experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Hands-on software development and programming experience, preferably with Python.
• Experience implementing security automation and Policy-as-Code solutions.
• Experience building cloud platforms or shared cloud services.
• Experience working with large-scale enterprise AWS environments.
• Ability to translate security and compliance requirements into practical, enforceable technical controls.
• Experience making architectural decisions and selecting appropriate security technologies.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and technical decision-making abilities.
• Fluent English is mandatory.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working in multi-cloud environments.
• Background in Platform Engineering.
• Experience in regulated industries, particularly aviation.
• Knowledge of AI/LLM security or advanced threat detection.
• Experience developing reusable security components and automation frameworks.
