AWS Technical Lead / Architect

The Role We are looking for a hands-on AWS Technical Lead to act as the architectural anchor. You will not just be coding; you will be the "Technical North Star".

You will oversee solution design, enforce best practices, and guide the implementation of complex systems ranging from Infrastructure Setups to AI-powered solutions & Enterprise Data Warehouses.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert technical guidance across multiple projects.

• Own the end-to-end cloud architecture. You will decide when to use Lambda vs. Fargate, how to optimize Redshift/Glue, and where to implement security boundaries.

• While you don't need to be a Data Scientist, you must be comfortable architecting applications that consume AI services (e.g., AWS Bedrock, LLMs, RAG pipelines, and Vector Databases).

• Conduct code reviews, set standards for Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation), and mentor developers to ensure production-grade delivery.

• Translate complex technical concepts into business value for our clients, helping them understand trade-offs and risks.

• You will be the internal client qualifying the deliverables before it goes to deployment

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Proven track record (5+ years) architecting and deploying solutions on AWS. You should be fluent in Serverless (Lambda, API Gateway), Data Services (S3, Glue, Redshift), and Security (IAM, VPC).

• Experience leading agile teams, estimating effort, and making architectural trade-offs.

• Practical experience or strong conceptual knowledge of integrating Machine Learning into web applications (e.g., using LLMs, APIs, or pre-trained models).

• Strong background in backend engineering (Node.js, Python, or similar).

• Excellent ability to document technical designs (TDDs) and communicate risks to non-technical stakeholders.

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional) or similar.

Nice-to-Have (Bonus Points):

• Prior experience in Biotech, Life Sciences, or Healthcare. (Familiarity with GxP compliance or genomic data is a huge plus).

• Experience designing Data Lakes or Analytics pipelines (QuickSight, Power BI migrations).
