AX Senior Developer

As an AX Senior Developer, you are outgoing, dedicated, and accountable, with a strong ability to proactively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You take initiative, demonstrate ownership of your work, and approach challenges with an analytical, pragmatic, and solution-oriented mindset. Your expertise will play a key role in delivering high-quality ERP solutions, resolving complex technical issues, and supporting ITIL-based processes.

You possess deep knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) development and can translate business requirements into scalable, sustainable, and high-quality solutions that align with customer needs. You will also contribute to solution assessments, effort estimations, and recommendations for prioritizing enhancements and defect resolution activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into high-quality technical designs and solutions.
• Define development timelines, effort estimates, and implementation plans.
• Develop and maintain medium to complex ERP solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Write, review, and maintain code, technical documentation, and project deliverables.
• Develop software following clean code principles, coding standards, and industry best practices.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and production issues in a timely manner.
• Create proof-of-concept solutions to evaluate emerging technologies and tools.
• Ensure alignment of the development team with the overall technical vision and architecture.
• Adapt and update technical direction in response to evolving business requirements.
• Participate in pre-sales activities, solution discussions, and proposal development.
• Establish and maintain development standards, policies, procedures, and quality assurance processes.
• Conduct project audits to ensure compliance with company development standards and best practices.
• Support and contribute to integration initiatives leveraging Azure Integration Services and related Microsoft technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development related to ERP solutions utilizing Microsoft technologies.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in the design, development, customization, and maintenance of Microsoft Dynamics AX solutions using: X++, MorphX, Azure DevOps, and SQL
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with .NET Framework and C# development.
• Experience with Azure Integration Services, including designing, developing, or supporting system integrations within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
• Knowledge and experience with BizTalk Server Integration is highly desirable and considered a strong advantage.
• Experience with database technologies, particularly Azure SQL Database and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Proven expertise in debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving complex ERP-related issues.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of Agile development methodologies and software delivery practices.
• Knowledge of business processes within the following domains is an advantage: Finance and Supply Chain Management
• Experience working in offshore and multicultural environments, including collaboration across geographic boundaries.
• Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to evaluate and communicate cost, benefits, and risks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Innovative, proactive, and continuous-improvement mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in designing and implementing integrations using Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions, Azure API Management, and Event Grid.
• Experience migrating or modernizing integrations from BizTalk Server to Azure Integration Services.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native integration patterns.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) is an advantage.

Work Schedule

Employees will be expected to adhere to a flexible hybrid work schedule, with a required presence in the office for 2 day per week, allowing for customization of work hours within a specified morning or mid-shift time frame.
