Azure Administrator – SAP Business One

Job Description This is a remote position. We are looking for an experienced Azure Administrator with strong expertise in supporting and maintaining SAP Business One environments hosted on Microsoft Azure. The role involves part-time, remote support to ensure smooth operation, high availability, and security of SAP B1 workloads running on the Azure cloud. Key Responsibilities: Administer and support SAP Business One hosted on Azure (VMs, databases, networking, storage, and security). Perform regular system monitoring, patching, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. Manage Azure resources efficiently, ensuring cost optimization and scalability. Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies. Collaborate with SAP consultants, developers, and business teams to address technical requirements and resolve issues. Ensure compliance with Azure governance, security, and IT best practices. Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or related tools where possible. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven hands-on experience as an Azure Administrator (certification preferred). Practical experience with SAP Business One administration (SQL Server / HANA knowledge beneficial). Strong knowledge of Azure IaaS/PaaS services (VMs, networking, storage, monitoring, backup). Expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL Server administration . Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in cloud environments. Ability to work independently in a remote, part-time capacity with flexible availability. Nice to Have: Familiarity with Azure Security Center, Azure Monitor, and Azure Cost Management . Knowledge of SAP Business One integrations with external applications. Prior experience in SAP workload migration to Azure .
