Azure Data & Integration Engineer

We’re looking for a hands-on Azure Data & Integration Engineer to work on cloud data integrations across APIs and SaaS platforms.

🔧 Key technologies

• Azure Data Factory
• REST APIs & JSON
• Azure SQL / T-SQL
• Azure Logic Apps & Azure Storage
• Azure Key Vault
• OAuth 2.0 & API authentication
• Incremental data ingestion
• Logging, monitoring & error handling
• Git / Azure DevOps / CI-CD

Experience with Shopify APIs, e-commerce, logistics/WMS or similar SaaS integrations is a plus.

🎯 What we’re looking for someone who can work with a good degree of independence, from reviewing API documentation and designing the integration approach to implementing, troubleshooting and documenting the solution.

You should have:

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and data integration
• Solid experience with REST APIs and Azure SQL / T-SQL
• Practical knowledge of Azure integration and storage services
• Experience with authentication, incremental loads and API payload processing
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good written and spoken English
• Resident in Portugal

⚠️ This is an integration-focused role, rather than a position primarily focused on Power BI, reporting, Data Science or Databricks.
