Job Description
This is a remote position.
Job Objective: Manage and secure Azure infrastructure, ensuring availability, performance, and compliance through security controls, automation, and cloud best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee, configure, and optimize cloud infrastructure resources, including virtual machines, networks, and storage, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
- Implement and maintain cloud security policies, manage access and resource protection, and ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
- Automate tasks and continuously monitor cloud resources to ensure efficiency and proactively address potential issues.
- Manage identities and access controls, implementing security measures to ensure proper access to resources.
- Design and implement disaster recovery plans and ensure the resilience of cloud infrastructure.
- Evaluate and recommend strategies to optimize resource costs while maintaining operational efficiency.
Requirements
3+ years of experience managing and securing Azure cloud infrastructure.
Academic degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science or related fields.

Technical skills
- Azure Networking: Strong knowledge of VNets, subnets, IP addressing, and NSGs.
- Security Tools: Experience with Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, and other Azure security tools.
- Azure Active Directory (AAD): Proficient in RBAC and access policies management.
- Data Security: Experience with Azure Key Vault and data encryption.
- Storage Solutions: Familiar with Azure Blob Storage, Disk Storage, File Storage, and backup solutions.
- Automation: Experience with PowerShell, Azure CLI, and ARM templates for IaC.
- Cost Management: Ability to optimize resource expenditure using Azure Cost Management tools.
Additional Skills:
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Elastic Query.
- Familiarity with API Management, App Services, Function Apps, Service Endpoints, and Storage.
- Expertise in Application Gateway, Azure Front Door (WAF), Key Vault, and Managed Identities.
