What does the role look like? You'll collaborate closely with our cloud architects and engineering teams, providing invaluable expertise throughout the design, build, and migration phases of transformational projects. Key responsibilities Assess on-premise workloads for cloud readiness Design migration strategies to Azure Provide technical engineering expertise during the migration process Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for SQL Server IaaS and SQL PaaS design and build activities Offer advice and consultancy to customers and project teams What will you bring to the role? Expertise with Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Managed Instances Hands-on experience with database migration tools like DMA, Azure Migrate, or similar Proficiency in SQL Server performance tuning and troubleshooting Knowledge of SQL AlwaysOn Availability Groups and other high availability techniques Strong skills in SQL Server backups Proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL) and T-SQL You can work independently, managing your own tasks and timelines to meet project goals and client expectations. You are comfortable navigating different client environments and adjusting to their unique needs and processes. You have a collaborative mindset and enjoy friendly working environment What can you offer you?
