Job Title: B2B Content Editor
Location: Remote (PH and Colombia)
Type: Independent Contractor
Compensation:
$1,400 - $1,600 (USD)

Position Overview

Our client is a leading platform where businesses can discover world-class designers and purchase their services. As a B2B Content Editor, you will write, edit, format, and publish clear, engaging, and accurate content. The ideal candidate is a strong writer and editor with SEO knowledge, sound editorial judgment, and experience using CMS platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

- Write and edit editorial and client content, including articles, guides, and other assigned pieces.
- Own assigned content from draft through publication, including formatting, links, images, and other publishing details.
- Review and QA content before it goes live to ensure it's accurate, polished, properly formatted, and consistent with our client's standards.
- Apply SEO best practices across content, including headlines, structure, keywords, internal linking, and metadata.
- Learn and follow the specific requirements and processes associated with client and sponsored content.
- Work with the team to stay aligned on content priorities, deadlines, feedback, and the publishing calendar.
- Incorporate feedback and build toward independently owning the writing, editing, publishing, and QA process for assigned content.

What we're looking for:

- Proven experience writing and editing digital or editorial content, ideally for digital agencies and/or B2B brands and decision-makers.
- Experience covering design, marketing, advertising, technology, or related topics is a plus.
- Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and storytelling skills with a strong command of English.
- A strong eye for what makes content clear, useful, engaging, and appropriate for its intendedaudience.
- Comfortable catching everything from typos and broken links to formatting inconsistencies and publishing issues.
- Working knowledge of SEO and how to optimize content without sacrificing readability or quality.
- Comfortable publishing and formatting content in a CMS and learning new tools and workflows.
- Able to manage assignments from start to finish, stay on top of deadlines, and work independently.
- Comfortable receiving feedback, learning new processes, and working in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift.
- Easy to work with and comfortable coordinating with different members of a remote team.
