🚀 We're hiring: Full Stack Data Platform Engineer 🚀

We're looking for an engineer who's passionate about building and operating cloud-native data platforms — someone who combines a strong engineering mindset with hands-on experience across infrastructure, automation, and software development.

📍 Contract: B2B / Freelancer & Long-term Project

🗣️ Languages: Dutch & French (business level, speaking + writing)

📍Location: Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid)

🏛️ Bonus: Public sector experience is a plus

What you'll do:

🔹 Automate and build tooling with Python and Shell scripting

🔹 Design and manage infrastructure with Terraform (IaC)

🔹 Work deep in the AWS ecosystem (networking, IAM, compute, storage)

🔹 Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot on Kubernetes and Amazon EKS

🔹 Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Git (Bitbucket)

🔹 Administer Snowflake (security model, RBAC, privileges, object lifecycle) and provision resources via Terraform

🔹 Champion software engineering best practices: code reviews, testing, version control, operational excellence

Nice to have:

➕ Java & Spring Boot

➕ Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures

➕ Broad experience with cloud-native data platforms, DevOps, and platform engineering

Who you are:

✅ Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills

✅ A strong cross-functional communicator

✅ Fluent in Dutch and French at business level

Selection Criteria
