Glue is an e-commerce growth partner helping brands grow through experimentation, analytics, and continuous optimization. We’re bringing that approach to H2O, an AI authoring and release workspace for Shopify teams.

H2O helps teams create changes across supported Shopify surfaces—from themes and Functions to Admin experiences and extensions—with a controlled process for review, approval, and release. Our initial focus is helping specialist Shopify agencies deliver recurring client work faster, with measurable improvements in delivery time and effort.

Role Description

We’re looking for a hands-on B2B Growth Marketer to help bring H2O to market and turn early customer adoption into repeatable growth.

You’ll work closely with the founders and product team to refine positioning, recruit agency partners, build a qualified pipeline, and convert successful pilots into recurring customers. Our first customers are Shopify agencies with ongoing retainers and frequent customization requests, with agency founders, delivery leads, and technical leads as key buyers.

This role combines customer research, product marketing, demand generation, and lifecycle marketing. You’ll help establish which messages, workflows, and channels drive adoption, then build on what works.

Key Responsibilities

• Validate our target market: Interview Shopify agencies to understand delivery bottlenecks, buying decisions, and the recurring workflows where H2O can provide measurable value.
• Sharpen positioning and messaging: Communicate H2O’s supported authoring capabilities and release controls through clear, accurate website copy, demos, outreach, and sales materials.
• Build early pipeline: Develop targeted outreach, warm introductions, agency relationships, and relevant community engagement alongside the founders.
• Own the conversion funnel: Improve the journey from first contact to demo, pilot, paid subscription, and expansion across client stores.
• Support activation and retention: Partner with product and customer-facing teams to help customers complete their first useful workflow and return for repeat releases.
• Create customer evidence: Turn pilot results into case studies and content showing delivery improvements, time savings, and reduced manual effort.
• Run disciplined experiments: Test audiences, messaging, offers, pricing, and channels. Introduce paid acquisition as retention and acquisition economics justify it.
• Measure commercial progress: Track qualified opportunities, pilot conversion, activation, repeat usage, retention, account expansion, and revenue.

Qualifications

• Experience in early-stage B2B SaaS growth, product marketing, or demand generation, with evidence of turning customer insight into pipeline and revenue.
• Familiarity with the Shopify ecosystem, ideally including agencies, merchant workflows, and app or developer tools.
• Strong writing and positioning skills, with the ability to explain technical capabilities in terms of customer value.
• Hands-on experience with targeted outreach, lead generation, landing pages, CRM systems, and lifecycle campaigns.
• Confidence using analytics and experiments to prioritize work and evaluate results.
• Comfort working directly with founders, navigating ambiguity, and owning both strategy and execution.
• Clear communication and strong independent working habits in a remote team.
• Experience marketing AI products or technical platforms is a plus.

What Success Looks Like

In your first 90 days, you’ll establish a working pilot acquisition funnel, build customer insight through agency interviews, and help secure and convert early pilots as product readiness allows. Success means qualified customers reaching value, using H2O repeatedly, and creating a credible path to expansion across their stores.
