Role Description This is a part-time, remote Video Editor role. The Video Editor will create, edit, and refine video content that reflects Syra’s brand values and visual identity across digital channels. Day-to-day tasks include assembling raw footage, cutting and sequencing clips, adding transitions, titles, and sound, and performing basic color correction to ensure cohesive, high-quality content. The role also involves collaborating with marketing and creative teams to interpret briefs, incorporate feedback, and deliver videos optimized for social media and other platforms. The Video Editor is expected to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain organized file structures and project assets.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing.
• Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to enhance visual quality and consistency.
• Candidates should possess capabilities in Motion Graphics and Graphics for creating engaging visual elements and overlays.
• Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and basic audio editing tools.
• Strong sense of visual storytelling, attention to detail, and ability to align content with brand guidelines.
• Effective communication skills, reliability in a remote work environment, and the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Previous experience in lifestyle, beauty, or wellness content is a plus.
