Role Description
The Bachelor's Admissions Specialist is a part-time, remote role focused on supporting prospective undergraduate students through the admissions process. In this position, the specialist will conduct online consultations, advise students on suitable programs and institutions, and guide them in preparing application materials like personal statements, resumes, and supporting documents. Daily tasks include responding to inquiries, explaining admissions requirements, managing follow-ups, and maintaining accurate records of student interactions. The specialist will collaborate on outreach efforts, help improve advisory resources, and ensure that each student receives clear, timely, and empathetic guidance from initial contact through application submission.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal guidance tailored to diverse student backgrounds.
- Customer Service experience, with a focus on providing supportive, responsive, and solution-oriented assistance to prospective students.
- Background or interest in Education, higher education systems, or academic advising, especially related to undergraduate admissions.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and handle multiple student cases concurrently.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills, with attention to detail in tracking interactions and application progress.
- Either studied abroad at bachelor’s level yourself, ideally on a scholarship, or strong hands-on experience with undergraduate applications
- Working knowledge of systems like the Common App, UCAS and major government scholarships for undergraduates
- Strong writing and editing skills
