We are looking for a skilled
Backend Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the core infrastructure of our multi-tenant SaaS platform. You will work at the intersection of high-performance backend systems and cutting-edge AI/LLM pipelines. This is a fully remote position, perfect for a developer who is self-motivated, disciplined, and ready to make a significant impact.

What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js/Express and MySQL at scale.
- Implement and manage caching strategies using Redis to ensure high performance.
- Build and maintain AI/LLM pipelines, including embeddings, vector databases (Pinecone), and multi-provider integrations (OpenAI, Gemini).
- Architect and maintain RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) workflows to enhance our product's intelligence.
- Manage our cloud infrastructure on AWS using an Infrastructure-as-Code discipline (EKS, Helm, eksctl, IRSA) – No console or manual kubectl edits.
- Ensure robust multi-tenant SaaS data isolation across the platform.
- Develop and maintain integrations with third-party platforms (Zendesk, SendGrid, Meta) via webhooks and APIs.
- Work with our frontend stack (SvelteKit 2 / Svelte 5, Tailwind) to collaborate on full-stack features.
- Own the software lifecycle using Git/CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Docker, ECR).
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience as a Backend Developer with a strong focus on Node.js/Express.
- Deep expertise with MySQL at scale (query optimization, indexing, schema design).
- Hands-on experience with Redis for caching and session management.
- Practical knowledge of AI/LLM pipelines, including embeddings, Pinecone, and working with OpenAI/Gemini APIs.
- Experience implementing RAG architectures.
- Strong AWS experience, specifically with EKS, Helm, eksctl, and IRSA, adhering to Infrastructure-as-Code principles.
- Solid understanding of multi-tenant SaaS data isolation strategies.
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and webhooks (Zendesk, SendGrid, Meta).
- Proficiency with Git, GitHub Actions, Docker, and ECR.
- Familiarity with SvelteKit 2 / Svelte 5 and Tailwind is a strong plus.
