About Enrollaa

Enrollaa is an AI-powered admissions intelligence platform that helps Nigerian university candidates understand their chances and make smarter choices. We're building the product now and launching soon.

The Role

You'll build the engine behind Enrollaa: the APIs, the database, and the data pipelines that power our admission predictions. You'll structure and process admissions data (cut-offs, requirements, course competitiveness) and work with the founder to design how predictions are calculated and served. This is the core of the product, with real ownership.

Program

• 8 to 12 weeks, remote, about 6 to 8 hours a week

• Weekly check-in and code reviews

• Unpaid. You receive a signed certificate, real shipped work for your portfolio, and a LinkedIn recommendation for strong performers

• This is the strongest path to co-founder terms for the right person, with vesting, after the program

Who We Want

This program is for experienced engineers, not beginners. You must have:

• A proven GitHub or portfolio with real backend projects, including at least one complete app or API you built and shipped

• Strong skills in Python or Node.js (TypeScript)

• Solid experience with databases (PostgreSQL or similar), designing schemas, and writing clean queries

• Experience building and documenting REST APIs

• Experience with data pipelines: collecting, cleaning, and structuring data

• A good understanding of AI and machine learning, and ideally experience building or integrating prediction models or LLM-based features

• Knowledge of authentication, security basics, and deployment (cloud hosting, CI/CD is a plus)

• Clean code, Git, and strong communication for remote work
