💻 Position Server-Side Engineer

💡 Responsibilities

Lead product growth through robust server-side development. Our engineering organization operates under a matrix structure, aligning engineers along product domain verticals and technical domain horizontals. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers and Designers to build and optimize features for your assigned product, while also working horizontally to solve cross-product platform challenges.

Key Duties:

• API Design & Implementation: Design and develop RESTful APIs powering mobile applications and front-end interfaces.

• Data Modeling: Architect efficient databases and optimize complex database queries.

• Performance Tuning: Identify bottlenecks, implement effective caching strategies, and eliminate N+1 query problems.

• Third-Party Integrations: Connect external services including payment gateways, LLM platforms, and notification systems.

• Batch & Asynchronous Processing: Build scalable data processing pipelines and scheduled jobs for heavy workloads.

• AI Harness Development: Select/develop tooling and redesign engineering processes to enable AI agent-driven development.

• Technical Debt Management: Refactor legacy codebases and drive architectural modernization.

• Framework Upgrades: Continuously update core frameworks and libraries (e.g., PHP / Laravel).

• Technical Decision-Making: Participate in architecture selection and technology stack evaluation.

🎯 Requirements Mandatory Requirements:

• Professional experience in server-side development (language/framework agnostic)

• 3+ years of experience in cloud/server infrastructure and database operations

• Hands-on experience in collaborative, team-based software development

• JLPT N1 level Japanese proficiency required for non-Japanese candidates

💰 Conditions & Benefits Compensation & Salary:

Estimated Annual Salary: JPY 6,000,000 – 12,000,000 (negotiable based on experience) Includes 30 hours of fixed overtime pay (overtime beyond 30 hours is paid separately)

Standard Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (8 working hours, 1-hour break)

・Flextime System: Available (Core hours: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM)

💡 業務内容

担当プロダクトの事業成長を、サーバサイド開発を通して牽引いただく役割です。 当社のサーバサイドは、プロダクトへのアサインを「縦軸」、サーバサイド領域を「横軸」とするマトリクス型の体制をとっています。担当プロダクトにおいては、PdM、デザイナーと議論しながら機能開発や改善を進めて事業を伸ばし、同時にサーバサイド横断のメンバーとして、複数プロダクトに共通する課題解決にも取り組んでいただきます。

担当する主な開発

・API設計・実装：モバイルアプリやフロントエンドが利用するAPIの設計と実装

・データモデリング：効率的なデータベース設計、クエリ最適化

・パフォーマンスチューニング：ボトルネック特定、キャッシュ戦略、N+1問題の解消

・外部サービス連携：決済、LLMサービス、通知サービスなどとの連携実装

・バッチ処理・非同期処理：大量データ処理、定期実行ジョブの実装

・AIハーネスの構築：AIエージェントによる開発を進めるためのツール選定や開発、開発プロセスの再設計

・技術負債の解消：レガシーコードのリファクタリング、アーキテクチャ改善

・バージョンアップ対応：PHP/Laravel等のフレームワーク・ライブラリの継続的更新

・技術的な意思決定：アーキテクチャ選定、技術選定への参画

🎯 応募資格

＜必須スキル＞

・サーバサイド開発の経験（言語、フレームワーク不問）

・インフラ（サーバやデータベース等）の運用経験3年以上

・チーム開発経験

・（外国籍の方）日本語はN1レベル必須

💰 待遇・勤務条件

年収・給与

想定年収：600万円 〜 1200万円（経験により応相談）

固定残業代制（30時間/超過分は別途支給）

フレックスタイム制：あり（コアタイム：12:00〜15:00）
