We are looking for an experienced Backend PHP Developer who thrives on solving complex challenges and is ready to make a massive impact on a high-traffic product at the intersection of security, massive scale, and digital freedom.

We have several projects, with the main tech stack:

PHP 7.4 / 8.*

Laravel 7 / 8 / 11

MySQL 8

Redis / Memcache

What you will do:

• Understand the existing codebase.

• Independently solve tasks of varying complexity.

• Conduct research tasks to find optimal solutions.

• Develop new features and integrate third-party services (API projects and admin panel).

• Refactor and optimize existing code in Laravel (no heavy legacy).

• Occasionally work with Blade templates.

• Document code and implemented tasks.

• Create new projects from scratch.

What we are looking for:

• 5+ years of commercial experience in PHP development.

• Experience in team development and writing clear, well-documented code.

• Experience working with high-load projects.

• Excellent knowledge of PHP and OOP principles.

• Excellent knowledge of SQL and query optimization.

• Good knowledge and hands-on experience with Laravel.

• Experience with queues, Redis, Memcache, Nginx, Node.js, Git, Composer.

• Experience working with *nix CLI.

• Attention to detail in code writing and Git management.

• Self-organization.

• Written English level B2 or higher.

Nice to Have

• Providing a link or archive with representative examples of your work will be a big plus.

• Experience in developing fault-tolerant applications.

• Knowledge of network design principles.

• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code.

• Knowledge of Golang.
