Backend Spring Boot Java Lead

Role Description The Backend Spring Boot Java Lead is a full-time hybrid role based in Qesm El Agoza, with the flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. This role is responsible for leading the design and development of backend services using Java and Spring Boot, including microservices and RESTful APIs. The Lead will oversee code quality, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices and design patterns. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, translating business requirements into technical solutions, troubleshooting complex issues, and optimizing system performance and scalability. The role also involves mentoring team members, contributing to technical architecture decisions, and supporting continuous integration and deployment processes.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Software Development and Programming, with a focus on Java and Spring Boot.
• Candidates should possess expertise in Jakarta EE and Microservices for building scalable, distributed backend systems.
• Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Design Patterns and backend architecture best practices.
• Experience leading development teams, performing code reviews, and guiding junior developers.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, relational databases, and ORM frameworks.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capability to work in hybrid on-site/remote environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
