Job Description This is a remote position. About Us Ellit Groups is a Private Equity-backed, woman, minority-led healthcare IT consulting firm focused on Provider and Payer organizations. We partner with healthcare leaders who value operational excellence, real-world experience, and diverse perspectives to drive better outcomes. Our firm is built by former healthcare operators who understand the realities of running complex healthcare systems. This combination of operator credibility and investment-backed growth enables us to deliver high-impact, scalable solutions. We differentiate ourselves by bringing practical experience, executive-level insight, and a relentless focus on quality and outcomes. Our success is directly tied to our clients’ success. Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Epic Beaker Project Manager to support an Epic Beaker Anatomic Pathology implementation. This role will lead project activities from the operations side, with a primary focus on clinical informatics, training, hardware readiness, stakeholder coordination, and operational preparedness. The Project Manager will partner closely with regional leaders, clinical stakeholders, informatics teams, training teams, and technical resources to ensure the appropriate participants are engaged, key workstreams remain aligned, and operational milestones are achieved. This position will not directly manage the Epic application build but will coordinate closely with the build team to support overall project readiness and successful implementation. Key Responsibilities · Lead operational project management activities for the Epic Beaker AP implementation. · Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and status reporting. · Coordinate clinical informatics activities and ensure operational workflows are appropriately represented throughout the project. · Project manage the training workstream, including planning, scheduling, stakeholder coordination, readiness tracking, and issue resolution. · Help oversee the hardware workstream and track hardware planning, deployment, dependencies, and operational readiness. · Coordinate project meetings and ensure the appropriate regional leaders, clinical representatives, and operational stakeholders are included. · Develop meeting agendas, document decisions, track action items, and follow up with responsible stakeholders. · Facilitate communication and alignment among operational, clinical, informatics, training, technical, and application teams. · Identify project risks, barriers, and resource needs and escalate concerns to project leadership as appropriate. · Monitor dependencies between operational workstreams and the Epic Beaker build team. · Support workflow validation, training readiness, implementation preparation, and go-live planning. · Provide clear and consistent project updates to leadership and key stakeholders. · Ensure decisions, responsibilities, timelines, and project expectations are clearly documented and communicated. · Support operational readiness activities through implementation, go-live, and stabilization. Requirements Required Qualifications · Demonstrated project management experience with Epic Beaker implementations. · Experience supporting Epic Beaker Anatomic Pathology projects. · Strong understanding of laboratory operations, clinical workflows, and operational readiness requirements. · Experience managing clinical informatics, training, hardware, or other operational implementation workstreams. · Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and engage clinical, operational, regional, and technical leaders. · Strong meeting facilitation, organization, documentation, and follow-up skills. · Experience managing project plans, risks, issues, dependencies, milestones, and executive-level status reporting. · Ability to work effectively across multiple teams without directly managing the Epic application build. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. · Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify concerns, drive decisions, and escalate risks appropriately. Preferred Qualifications · Epic Beaker certification, accreditation, or demonstrated application knowledge. · Experience managing enterprise-scale Epic or laboratory system implementations. · Experience supporting training strategy, curriculum readiness, or end-user preparation. · Experience coordinating laboratory hardware planning and deployment. · Experience working with regional or multi-site healthcare operations. · Project management certification, such as PMP, is preferred. Benefits What We Offer: Competitive salary and benefits package. Opportunity to work in a collaborative and innovative environment. Professional development opportunities to advance your career. Flexible work arrangements to promote work-life balance.
