About the Role
As Beauty Designer, you'll create trend-driven, experience-led products that bring together beauty, hair, accessories, lifestyle, and toy-inspired play for a younger customer. This role sits at the intersection of product design, graphic design, and product development, creating products that encourage creativity, self-expression, discovery, and play.

From innovative hair styling kits and DIY beauty experiences to collectible accessories and engaging giftable products, you'll bring concepts to life from initial idea through finished product. You'll have a strong hand in both the product itself and its visual identity, designing compelling graphics and packaging that make each product feel cohesive, exciting, and unmistakable on shelf.

We're looking for a versatile, hands-on designer who can move seamlessly between conceptualizing a product, developing its components, creating its graphics and packaging, and partnering with cross-functional teams to bring it to market. A strong understanding of toys, novelty, and play-based products, paired with a passion for beauty and hair trends, is key to success in this role.

A portfolio showcasing relevant product design, graphic design, and packaging work is required as part of the application process. Please include a link to your portfolio, website, or other examples of your work for consideration.

• Build cohesive product worlds that connect across categories while maintaining a strong beauty identity
Create Experience-Led Product
• Design with play, discovery, and repeat engagement in mind
• Develop product that taps into behaviors like “get ready with me,” customization, and social sharing

• Collaborate with Production to bring designs to life with quality and speed
Drive Innovation & Trend Relevance

• Monitor TikTok for beauty and hair trends — GRWM routines, styling hacks, and viral formats — before they peak
• Identify whitespace opportunities, especially where beauty meets play and hair experimentation
• Continuously evolve product to stay fresh, relevant, and exciting

Who You Are
• A designer who understands our customer first — curious, expressive, and experience-driven
• Passionate about beauty and hair, with a strong point of view on how they're explored and experienced
• A creative problem-solver who questions “that's how it's always been done” and finds the format nobody's tried
• Equally comfortable developing a product concept, designing its graphics, and bringing the finished product to life.
• Strong visual and graphic design sensibility, with an eye for packaging, color, typography, and product storytelling.
• Passionate about toys, play, novelty, and interactive experiences, with an understanding of what excites and engages a younger customer.
• Fluent in AI-powered design tools and excited by new ways of creating
• A strong storyteller who can bring ideas to life visually and conceptually
• Comfortable working across categories in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Product Design, or a related field
• 4–7 years of design experience, including full category ownership
