We also invest in our practitioners through innovative systems and processes and regular clinical supervision and practice support, because the support a participant receives is directly connected to the support their practitioner receives.

Role description: Behaviour Support Practitioner | Expression of interest

The role

Everli Health is growing, intentionally and with the right people. We are looking for a behaviour support practitioner to join our team in Greater Sydney. This is a direct practice role. Everli Health works with NDIS participants across the lifespan. You will work from a home-based office and in the community.

The role includes:

• functional behaviour assessments, and interim and comprehensive behaviour support plans developed with the participant and the people around them
• training and coaching families, carers and support workers so strategies are used consistently across settings
• identifying regulated restrictive practices, supporting authorisation, and including clear goals for their reduction and elimination
• monitoring and reviewing plans
• working alongside support coordinators, implementing providers and allied health colleagues

Workload

Full-time roles carry a billable target of 25 hours a week (including travel, billed at 50 percent). Part-time targets are pro rata.

Supervision and support

• Weekly individual clinical supervision, with set time for case discussion, reflective practice, ethical questions and feedback on reports
• Peer case discussion with the senior practitioner team

Growing your practice

• Support to work towards the next level of the PBS Capability Framework, for example from Core to Proficient
• Professional development budget
• Supervised experience across different areas of practice

What you need

• At least one year of experience delivering Positive Behaviour Support
• To be considered suitable by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission as a behaviour support practitioner at Core level or above
• A tertiary degree in a relevant field
• Demonstrated experience in Positive Behaviour Support, including functional behaviour assessment, development of behaviour support plans and implementation of evidence-informed strategies
• Knowledge of NDIS frameworks, restrictive practice reporting requirements and relevant legislation and standards
• Person-centred and trauma-informed practice, with strong communication and report-writing skills, including the ability to explain complex ideas in accessible language
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage a caseload, prioritise tasks and use clinical information systems, including for telehealth
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice, with openness to supervision and feedback
• A current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check
• A current driver's licence and your own car, with willingness to travel across Greater Sydney
• Experience supporting autistic and neurodivergent people, people with psychosocial disability and people with complex support needs is highly regarded.

What we offer

• $90,000 to $105,000+ plus super, depending on experience and capability level. Part-time pro rata.
• Permanent full-time and part-time positions (full-time is preferred). Everyone at Everli Health is an employee.
