Full-time · Rotterdam

We are shaping the world of unbiased hiring and on the lookout for a Behavioural Scientist. Ready to shake things up with us? 🚀

Equalture needs you to change the traditional recruitment process and make a lasting impact on the way we hire. There’s never a dull moment- things are always moving! We would have been happy to have you on board yesterday, but tomorrow is also fine.

What you’ll get:

  • Accountability, flexibility, and rapid growth;

  • Unlimited paid holidays;

  • The possibility to work on your mental and physical health;

  • Compensation: a salary between € 3400 - € 3900; and a discretionary performance based bonus

  • Hybrid working; for this job we're looking for someone to be based in The Netherlands

  • Occasional cuddle sessions with our Cuddle Officers 🐶;

  • A culture where every win will be celebrated!

About the job

The Science team makes our product unique. The team is responsible for developing, validating, and monitoring how the assessments land. On top of that, the team translates research insights into actionable points for both the team and the users.

As our Behavioural Scientist, you will manage various stages of science projects, from early literature research and study design to execution and insights implementation. You will be working closely with two Behavioural Scientists and a Data Scientist, and report to the Science Manager.

These are things you will be doing on a regular day:

  • Conduct literature reviews and synthesis your conclusions;

  • Take ownership of science projects and behavioural research from end-to-end;

  • Report your research design and statistical findings;

  • Collaborate with the team in game development;

  • Explain nuanced scientific concepts in a clear and accessible way for internal teams and external audiences.

About you

We’re looking for someone who cares deeply about shaping the world of unbiased hiring. You believe in the power of science to improve recruitment processes and make selection more effective and equitable. You’re well-organised, curious, and genuinely interested in (organisational/behavioural) psychology. You enjoy working with data, grounding your opinions in evidence, and continuously improving how you work.

Some things on our wish list:

Hard Requirements

  • You’re fluent in English;

  • You have a background in organisational psychology or behavioural psychology;

  • You are interested in the psychology behind recruitment or assessments;

  • You understand how to interpret scientific research papers and statistics.

Nice-to-haves

  • You are detail-oriented;

  • You have experience in assessment development.

Feel like you don’t meet all of the requirements? Don’t worry - you don't need to! If you hear the calling and only meet a few, we are still more than interested in having a chat with you!

As part of your application, you’ll complete Equalture’s game-based assessment. After hitting the apply button, we’ll send the link to the assessment. All this to ensure a fair, objective evaluation by focusing on your talents and potential rather than just your experience. No preparation needed; just be yourself!
