- Partner with brokers, carriers, consultants, and benefit vendors to develop and execute benefits strategies, leveraging claims, utilization, and cost analytics to identify trends, manage risk, and drive program effectiveness.
- Develop recommendations related to plan design, employee contributions, and cost-containment initiatives.
- Support benefits reporting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
- Partner with retirement plan advisors, recordkeepers, and vendors to support MCA's 401(k) strategy, governance, and employee education initiatives.
- Oversee wellness, advocacy, healthcare navigation, and employee well-being programs.
- Lead Open Enrollment strategy, employee communications, and benefits education initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, and other applicable regulations.
- Supervise, coach, and develop the Benefits Specialist while ensuring the effective administration of day-to-day benefits operations.
- Support benefits-related projects, system enhancements, and acquisition integration activities as needed.
What You Will Bring To The Team:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 4+ years of progressive benefits experience.
- Experience leading or supporting annual benefits renewals.
- Experience managing broker and vendor relationships.
- Experience with self-funded health plans.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects, influence decision-making, and develop recommendations using data and analytics.
- Strong analytical, project management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of health and welfare benefits and applicable regulations.
- Experience leading, mentoring, or developing team members preferred.
- Exposure to mergers and acquisitions (M&A), including benefits due diligence and employee integration activities, is a plus but not required.
