BI Analyst – Trading Operations (Esports) (m/f/x)

Do you have experience building BI dashboards or automated reporting systems that support trading or sportsbook performance monitoring? Have you worked with large datasets using SQL to create clean, analysis-ready tables, and used them to generate actionable insights Are you comfortable translating complex data set into clear insights and recommendations for non-technical stakeholders, such as traders? About the role GRID is looking for a BI Analyst to join our Trading team and support esports trading operations through data, reporting, and statistical tools. The core focus of this role is to build and maintain statistical modules for traders and provide clear performance and actionable insights to trading. You will work closely with traders, analytics, and data teams to ensure trading decisions are supported by accurate, timely, and actionable data. What you will do Build and maintain trading performance dashboards and reports using appropriate BI and reporting tools Build clean, reliable datasets using advanced SQL to support analysis and modeling, and collaborate with Engineering to productionize scalable data solutions Develop automated tools and dashboards that help stakeholders monitor performance, identify opportunities, and make data-informed decisions Develop dashboards and reports for monitoring trading performance Create automated reporting pipelines for daily/weekly performance metrics Establish KPI frameworks and performance tracking systems Work closely with Analytics and Data teams to align metrics and data definitions Optimize data queries and ETL processes for performance Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reporting systems Support traders with ad-hoc analysis and insights Your skills will include 2–5 years of experience in BI, analytics, or reporting roles Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience building structured, analysis-ready datasets Experience with BI platforms (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, or equivalent) Understanding of sportsbook or trading KPIs (turnover, GGR, margin, exposure) Strong attention to detail and data quality Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders A demonstrated ability to translate large, complex datasets into clear recommendations and effectively communicate insights to cross-functional partners A proactive, collaborative mindset with a strong interest in performance optimization Nice to have Experience in esports or sports betting Familiarity with statistical analysis for trading Python knowledge would be a plus, but not a requirement
